Webinar: What 2,000 Global Leaders Reveal about 2025 Data Sanitization Trends

Learn how global enterprises are managing end-of-life data following a year of disruption.

2024 was relentless with newly passed or enacted privacy and data protection rules. Add rapid AI adoption and related hardware refresh cycles, economic jitters, sustainability mandates, and new storage technology and sanitization standards, and suddenly, the end of your data and asset lifecycles demand a closer look.

So how are your peers—CIOs, CISOs, IT asset managers, data protection officers, and ESG leaders—adapting?

In this session, Blancco’s Maurice Uenuma and Fredrik Forslund unpack findings from our 2025 State of Data Sanitization Report.

You’ll learn how IT and ESG leaders from some of the world’s largest organizations are tackling secure, sustainable, and compliant end-of-life data practices, and where most organizations are still exposed.

What you’ll learn

Get actionable insights from the frontlines of enterprise data security, compliance, and sustainability:

  • Where disposal is still failing: Why outdated device destruction and weak erasure practices still pose major security risks—and how to close the gaps.
  • AI’s regulatory side effects: Whether AI is helping or hindering compliance with global data protection laws.
  • The future of erasure standards: How emerging sanitization standards can help you validate privacy, security, and ESG efforts.
  • ITAD meets ESG: What asset disposal decisions mean for your sustainability disclosures, hardware ROI, and overall ESG story.

Why this matters

Managing data at end-of-life isn’t just a security protocol—it’s a strategic imperative tied to:

  • Data privacy regulations (GDPR, CPRA, APPI)
  • ESG reporting (CPRD, ASIC)
  • Hardware lifecycle ROI
  • Stakeholder ESG expectations

Software-based erasure is no longer optional. This webinar shows why.
